The APBA has two categories of membership and various subclasses.
It is expected that all members will act in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts.
I. BACB Certificant Member
A. BCBA Certificant: These members hold a valid and current BCBA certificate issued by the BACB.Membership fee: $56 per year B. BCaBA Certificant: These members hold a valid and current BCaBA certificate issued by the BACB. Membership fee: $46 per year
II. Non-Certificant Member
A. Advanced Professional Member
These members hold a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, Doctor of Psychology, Juris Doctor, Doctor of Juridicial Science, or Doctor of Medicine degree and are not certified by the BACB. Membership fee: $54 per year
B. Master's Professional Member
These members hold a master's degree (in any field) and are not certified by the BACB. Membership fee: $50 per year
C. Bachelor's Professional Member
These members hold a bachelor’s degree (in any field) and are not certified by the BACB.Membership fee: $46 per year
D. Consumer Member
These members are recipients of applied behavior analysis services or family members of recipients and are not certified by the BACB.Membership fee: $35 per year
E. Student Member
These members must be currently enrolled full-time in a university degree program that offers a BACB-approved course sequence, a degree in applied behavior analysis, or a specialization in applied behavior analysis. Membership fee: $30 per year
Once you have completed the application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for your membership later, at a more convenient time. You will also have the option to pay immediately through the website.You will not be able to access members-only areas of this website until your membership has been paid.

NOTE: Your membership application will not be complete until your dues payment has been received. After you click "Submit Application" below, a screen will appear with payment instructions. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email receipt. Then you can go to www.apbahome.net , click the red Log In button, and follow the instructions to activate your membership. Be sure to activate cookies in your web browser (necessary to access the APBA website), and use the same email address you put on your membership application.
The Association of Professional Behavior Analysts respects your privacy. No personal information you provide to us (such as your name, address, and e-mail address) will be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of APBA.
Credit card details
APBA will not ask you for credit card information. We ask you not to enter it on any APBA forms except payment forms, which are directed through Merchant Warehouse’s secure server.
