Become a Member

The APBA has three categories of membership and various subclasses. Membership is for 12 months from the date dues payment is received. Members receive a subscription to the monthly electronic newsletter, the APBA Reporter; the opportunity to purchase professional liability and health insurance at group rates (for most U.S. members); access to valuable resources on the APBA website (archived material, including back issues of the Reporter; information on insurance coverage of ABA services; materials on professional credentialing of ABA practitioners; results of APBA surveys; bibliographies of applied research; and more); access to expert advice on many aspects of practice; and reduced registration, workshop, and CEU fees at the annual APBA convention.

Please consider supporting APBA's vital work on behalf of ABA practitioners and consumers by adding $100 to regular membership dues to become a Sustaining Member.

It is expected that all members will act in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts.

Once you have completed the application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for your membership later, at a more convenient time. You will also have the option to pay immediately through the website.

You will not be able to access members-only areas of this website until your membership has been paid.

I. BACB Certificant Member
	BCBA or BCBA-D Certificant
		These members hold a valid and current BCBA or BCBA-D certificate issued by the BACB. Regular Memberships: $62 per year
	BCaBA Certificant
		These members hold a valid and current BCaBA certificate issued by the BACB. Regular memberships: $51 per year
II. General Member
	Advanced Professional Member
		These members hold a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, Doctor of Psychology, Juris Doctor, Doctor of Juridicial Science, or Doctor of Medicine degree and are not certified by the BACB. Regular memberships: $59 per year
	Master's Professional Member
		These members hold a master's degree (in any field) and are not certified by the BACB. Regular memberships: $55 per year
	Bachelor's Professional Member
		These members hold a bachelor's degree (in any field) and are not certified by the BACB. Regular memberships: $50 per year
	Consumer Member
		These members are recipients of applied behavior analysis services or family members of recipients and are not certified by the BACB. Regular memberships: $39 per year
III. Student Member
	Student Member
		These members must be currently enrolled full-time in a university degree program that offers a BACB-approved course sequence, a degree in applied behavior analysis, or a specialization in applied behavior analysis. Regular memberships: $33 per year
