Purchase Advertising

The Association of Professional Behavior Analysts is pleased to offer the following advertising opportunities at its 9th annual convention. Sponsorships include the packages of items described below; other advertising options may be purchased a la carte.

  • All ads in the program guide are color. 
  • Sponsor packages include full convention registrations for 1-3 individuals. Each exhibit includes full convention registration for 1 individual. Those individuals are not automatically registered when purchase is made; instructions they must follow to register for the convention will be emailed after purchase. Additional exhibit workers who wish to attend convention presentations and other events must register for the convention (see Register tab above). Those who do not wish to attend other events may purchase an exhibitor-only registration for $150 (instructions will be emailed after purchase).
  • Each exhibit consists of one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. table with 5 ft of space behind the table for a standing display (no more than 6 ft wide; must be provided by the exhibitor) and two chairs. A second exhibit table may be purchased for $200. Sorry, no other furniture may be added to exhibits. Please see the Exhibit Area and Exhibitor Terms & Conditions sections below for further details. 

Sponsorship Packages

Platinum Sponsor - $3,000 
Includes one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. exhibit table, two chairs, and 5 ft. of space behind the table for all 3 days of the convention; full convention registrations for 3 individuals; acknowledgements on the convention webpage, signage in registration area, and in program guide; and a full-page ad inside the program guide. An additional exhibit table may be purchased for $200. Ads may be upgraded for additional fees as follows:

  • Inside front cover – add $575 SOLD
  • Inside back cover – add $425
  • Outside back cover – add $725 SOLD

Gold Sponsor$2,000
Includes one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. exhibit table, two chairs, and 5 ft. of space behind the exhibit table for all 3 days of the convention; full convention registrations for 2 individuals; acknowledgments on the convention webpage, signage in registration area, and in program guide; and a ½-page ad in program guide. An additional exhibit table may be purchased for $200. Ads may be upgraded for additional fees as follows:

  • Full-page ad – add $155

Silver Sponsor - $1,500
Includes one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. exhibit table, two chairs, and 5 ft. of space behind the exhibit table for all 3 days of the convention; full convention registration for 1 individual; acknowledgments on the convention webpage, signage in registration area, and in program guide; and a ¼-page ad in the program guide. An additional exhibit table maybe purchased for $200. Ads may be upgraded for additional fees as follows:

  • ½ page ad - add $75
  • Full-page ad - add $180

Exhibitor

Exhibit for all 3 days of the convention. Each exhibit purchase includes

  • one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. table with 5 ft of space behind the table for a standing display (no more than 6 ft wide; must be provided by the exhibitor) and two chairs
  • 100-word description with the exhibitor listing in the convention program guide
  • Full convention registration for one individual (see notes above).

APBA Affiliate Organization - $350  (Note: Available only to current APBA Affiliates, which are nonprofit behavior analysis associations -- see Affiliates on the website homepage)

College or University - $350

Regular  (company or organization that provides ABA services or products) - $550

Exhibit Area

All convention events except the Friday reception will be on the Atrium level of the hotel. As shown in the diagram below, all exhibits will be in the Atrium Foyer, adjacent to the Atrium Ballroom where keynote addresses, the Saturday luncheon, and some breakout sessions will be held, and near escalators and elevators. Convention registration and several breakout rooms will be in an area to the left in the diagram below; two breakout rooms will be to the right. 

The diagram comports with Fire Marshal regulations and hotel rules. Please refer to it when selecting your exhibit table number(s) during purchase.

Exhibitor Terms & Conditions

  • Electricity, audiovisual equipment, internet hookups, etc. for exhibits are not included in the fees paid to APBA and must be ordered directly from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis audiovisual and internet service providers. Order and pricing information will be provided to those who purchase exhibits.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping and handling of exhibit materials through FedEx Office at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Receiving and handling fees vary by weight. Information and pricing will be provided to those who purchase exhibits.
  • All signage must be professionally made (no handwritten signs) and is subject to approval by the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
  • Nothing may be taped, stapled, nailed, screwed, tacked, or otherwise affixed to any hotel doors, walls, columns, or other parts of the buildings or furnishings.
  • No gummed stickers or labels may be distributed.
  • Standing displays must be placed behind exhibit tables unless they fit on the table. The width cannot exceed the total width of the exhibit purchased (6 ft if one exhibit table, 12 ft if two adjacent tables).
  • No part of an exhibit can cover or restrict access to fire exits, obstruct trafficways, encroach on any neighboring exhibits, or be moved from the assigned location shown in the diagram above.
  • Exhibitors may give away products and materials at their own exhibits, but not at the APBA convention registration desk or in any convention rooms or other areas.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for keeping the area around their exhibit clean. Literature and other display materials must be limited to reasonable quantities, and reserved supplies must be kept in closed containers and stored in a neat and compact manner.
  • The exhibit area is not secure. Valuables should not be left at unattended exhibits. Neither the Atlanta Marriott Marquis nor APBA is responsible for loss of or damage to exhibit equipment or materials.
  • Exhibits are to be set up on Wednesday, April 10 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm and must be torn down by 5:30 pm on Saturday, April 13.
  • Exhibit hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm all 3 days of the convention (April 11, 12, 13).
  • Convention registration is required to enter all convention areas, including the exhibit area. That means that all exhibit workers must register for the convention. See the information above about convention registrations included with purchase of Sponsor packages and exhibits. Those purchasers will receive instructions about those registrations and how additional staff can register for the convention. 

Social Event Host

Advertise your brand while helping to underwrite the Friday evening reception (6:00 - 8:00 pm; open to all convention registrants) and/or Saturday luncheon and roundtable discussions (12:00 - 1:30 pm; open to registrants who purchase tickets. Maximum attendance: 350).

These options to not include convention registration. Individuals who work the host tables must register (via the Register tab above).

Reception Host - $600 
Includes a table at the reception on which you may display materials and acknowledgements on signage at the reception and in the program guide.

Luncheon Host - $400
Includes a table at the luncheon on which you may display materials, two tickets to the luncheon, and acknowledgments on signage at the luncheon and in the program guide.

Other Advertising

These options for advertising your brand do not include convention registration. Everyone who attends the convention must register (via the Register tab above). 

Atrium Ballroom Vertical Face Sign - $1,000 (6 available)
A 33 square foot sign on a vertical pillar outside the Atrium Ballroom, facing the exhibit area. Fee includes creation and installation of the sign by FedEx Office.

Elevator Door Wrap - $1,200 (13 available)
A wrap covering the door of one of the elevators that goes to the convention area. Fee includes creation and installation of the 25 square foot wrap by FedEx Office.

Elevator Window Sign - $500 (2 available) SORRY, SOLD OUT
A 17 square foot sign on a window of an elevator that goes to the convention area. Fee includes creation and installation of the sign by FedEx Office.

Atrium Escalator Panel Wrap - $5,000 (2 available)
A double-sided wrap (103 square feet per side) covering a panel on the main escalator into the convention area. Fee includes creation and installation of the wrap by FedEx Office.

Ads in Program Guide

These options do not include convention registration. Everyone who attends the convention must register (via the Register tab above).

All ads in the printed program guide are color. Dimensions are: ¼ page (4.25" wide x 5.5" high); 1/2 page (8.5" wide x 5.5" high); full page (8.5" wide x 11" high).

NOTE: APBA's mission is to promote and advance the practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Advertisements and exhibits at the convention must be consistent with that mission and with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Payment and Cancellation

Payment must be received by March 8, 2018.  Cancellations must be made in writing to Gina Green and are subject to a $25 administrative fee if received by March 11, 2019.  Refunds will not be provided after that date.
