Anyone with an interest in the practice of ABA is welcome to attend the APBA convention, but current APBA members enjoy substantially reduced fees. Membership is not included with convention registration. If you’re not already a member, join today to save on convention fees and enjoy the other benefits of membership. APBA has memberships for individuals in several categories (sorry, no group or organization memberships).
Full Convention Registration
Includes admission to all convention events on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday except the Thursday evening fundraiser, the luncheon and roundtable discussions on Saturday, and workshops. If you wish to attend the fundraiser, luncheon, and/or workshops, you must register and pay for those as well.
One-Day Registration (Thursday only, Friday only, or Saturday only)
Includes admission to all convention events on that day except the Thursday fundraiser, the luncheon and roundtable discussions on Saturday, and workshops. If you wish to attend the fundraiser, luncheon, and/or workshops, you must register and pay for those as well.
Please note: Consumer registration is reserved for recipients of applied behavior analysis services or family members of service recipients only.
*RBT = Individual currently credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician™.
You must register for the convention in order to register for any workshop(s). Pre-registration for workshops is required, as space is limited and workshops will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All workshops will be concurrent with other convention events (see the Program page for the complete convention agenda).
Workshop registration does not include CEU fees.
Most convention presentations except student papers and posters will offer Behavior Analyst Certification Board Type 2 CEUs. Everyone wishing to receive CEUs will pay the following flat rate (for as many CEUs as you can get) with convention registration.
APBA has contracted for a block of guest rooms at the convention venue, the beautiful Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch. To get the APBA group rate, you must make a guest room reservation by April 4 via the link that can be found under the Hotels & Travel tab above. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations of convention registrations must be made in writing (firstname.lastname@example.org) and are subject to a $25 fee if received by March 29, 2017. After that date substitutions will be accepted – that is, the registration may be transferred to another individual -- but refunds will not be provided. No-shows will not receive refunds. To get member registration rates, you must be a member at the time you register for the convention. No refunds will be issued to those who register as non-members by mistake or join APBA after registering for the convention.
