Layla Sump

Dr. Layla Sump is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but resides in the United States for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate and master's degrees in Psychology at Jacksonville State University, her Ph.D. in Special Education at Texas Tech University, and her postdoctoral training at Trumpet Behavioral Health. Dr. Sump held positions such as Clinical Director, Director of Training and Director of Clinical Services at Trumpet Behavioral Health, and Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University. She is the Chief Clinical Officer at Magical Moments ABA and the co-founder of DAXTA, where she hosts the podcast Tudo ABA and disseminates behavior analysts in Brazil. Dr. Sump has presented at national and international conferences, and she has multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications.
