Request to Recruit Research Participants
Per APBA’s Policy on Requests to Recruit Research Participants, all requests must:

- Be submitted by one of the PIs who is also a current APBA member;
- Be submitted via the form above.
- Include all the required information and uploaded documentation (listed in the form); and
- Be aligned with profession’s ethical standards and APBA’s mission and values.
All submissions will be reviewed in the next available monthly review meeting. Reviews are carried out by APBA staff who seek input from the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and/or Subject Matter Experts, as needed. Submissions must be received by the 20th of the month to be considered for the next month's release. If approved, the content will go out in a scheduled email in the following month.

Request for Research Participants (Behavior Technicians specifically) from APBA Member, Anniela San Miguel:
You are invited to participate in a brief research survey examining onboarding and initial training experiences in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
This study is being conducted by Anniela San Miguel, a doctoral student at Keiser University, as part of her dissertation research. You may be eligible to participate if you are 18 years of age or older and have completed onboarding or initial training for an ABA-related direct-service position, such as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), behavior technician, RBT trainee, or similar role, within the past 12 months. The purpose of this study is to better understand ABA onboarding and training experiences, including how prepared individuals feel to perform their responsibilities and how confident they feel in their ABA-related work.
Participation involves completing a one-time online survey that takes approximately 10 minutes or less. Participation is voluntary and anonymous. No names or personally identifying information will be collected. Individual responses will not be shared with employers, supervisors, training coordinators, the organization sharing this invitation, or others associated with participants’ workplaces. Participation or nonparticipation will not affect employment, training status, certification, professional standing, or organizational membership. Participants may skip any question or exit the survey at any time. If you are interested in participating, please use the link here.
