Molly Dubuque, MA, BCBA,® LBA (KY)
Chief Executive Officer
Molly Dubuque is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and an M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Kentucky. Molly has worked in behavior analysis for over 25 years, gaining experience across clinical, academic, and leadership roles. Her passion areas include high-quality supervision and mentorship, building sustainable systems, family engagement, and supporting front-line workers. She’s held roles such as Practicum Director at Spalding University and the University of Louisville, where she also helped launch home-based services at the UofL Autism Center. She served as Vice President of Clinical Standards and Outcomes at LittleStar ABA Therapy and most recently led family-centered service development as the Director of Family Engagement at UNIFI Autism Care. Molly has served on the Board of Directors for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (2018–2024), including terms as Secretary and Vice President, and on the Board of Directors for APBA. Molly is committed to shaping a sustainable and connected future for the field of behavior analysis. She finds joy in building others, up championing best practices, and creating space for emerging professionals to thrive.
Kiel Scates, M.Ed., BCBA®
Kiel ('Kyle') works for the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA) as the Marketing & Member Experience Coordinator. Kiel received her bachelor's (‘10) and master's (‘12) degrees in special education from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) Kiel began her career in the classroom as a special education teacher. After moving away from Athens and back to the Atlanta area, Kiel began pursuing her BCBA® credential while working as a behavior therapist. She earned her BACB® credential in July 2015. As an ABA practitioner, she has worked with a variety of clients ages 2 years to adulthood in homes, schools, clinics, residential, and community settings. Kiel has also served on the Georgia Association of Behavior Analysis (GABA) board for the past 5 years in a variety of roles, including the 2022 President. She was proud to be an active member of the licensure committee since 2018. The committee and GABA board saw the proposed state license of Behavior Analysts get signed into a bill in May 2022. She is enthusiastic about building connections within the community, being a support to professionals, and being a cheerleader for families and clients. Partnering with members, Affiliates, and practitioners and cheering them on is what Kiel is most passionate about! |
