Maria Solis

Maria has served individuals with diverse exceptionalities and their families since 2003. She is the founder and Executive Director of Sasaki Behavioral Group (SBG), a small behavioral health organization committed to supporting meaningful outcomes and quality of life for the individuals it serves, using person-centered ABA and close collaboration with their families and support teams.

As a small business owner and leader, Maria is committed to sustainable work-life balance and quality of life for her team and clients alike. SBG's work is grounded in its JEDIH values (social justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility) which guide its approach to service, collaboration, and organizational culture.

In addition to serving on APBA's board, Maria is the DEI Lead for the Asian Pacific Islander Association for Behavior Analysis (APIABA) and is active on several committees and special interest groups within the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP). Maria previously taught at the graduate level at Endicott College and the University of West Florida and lectured at Santa Clara University.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Santa Clara University, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
